Nikki Huddy is the Director of Planz Town Planning and Nikki's experience includes 11 years with Cairns City Council and the former Douglas Shire Council in various roles, including Manager of Strategic Planning; Manager of City Assessment; and Change Management / Process Improvement Project Manager.

Nikki has also worked as a senior planner in Central Queensland and South East Queensland and has practical experience in the policy making and implementation, development assessment, preparation of development applications and appearing as an expert witness in planning appeals.

Nikki has prepared reports and applications on a wide range of planning issues, including regional centres, unit development, character housing and style, hillslope development, transit oriented development and parking rates.  Nikki has experience drafting performance based planning codes, as part of statutory planning instruments and accompanying plans of development.
